To say that capitalism has failed is to say that freedom has failed.  It needs no government intervention, only its protection from fraudulent enterprises.  Capitalism is what results when people are given the freedom to pursue their personal ambitions to create a better life for themselves while granting that same right to others.  The rights to property must be secured along with the rights to use and dispose of property as one sees fit.  The application of this God given right does not impose an obligation on others to supply property, only to respect and defend everyone's right to enjoy its exercise.

In a free society some enterprises will succeed and others will fail.  Sometimes spectacularly. This should not invite an attempted solution by government fiat, be it democratic of dictatorial.  The end result will be, as has been demonstrated by the American experience of the last 200 plus years, a prosperity unequaled in human history.  We meddle with this freedom at our peril.
